From
the South (CT) we are about 2 hours from Hartford area:
Take I-91 north, exit 2 for Route 9 west. Go into downtown
Bennington and turn right at the 4th light onto US 7 north.
Follow the signs for Historic Route 7A. The Inn is on right about
2 miles from downtown. You may also take US 7 north through the
Berkshires instead of I-91 north.
From
the South (NY) we are about 3 ½ hours from NYC area:
Take I-87 north, exit 7 for NY route 7 east. NY 7 east becomes
Route 9 east in VT. Rather than going through downtown
Bennington, stay on 279 (Bennington Bypass) and take exit 1 for
North Bennington. Make a right at the end of the exit and follow
the signs for Historic route 7A (turn left just before the
light). We are located on the right hand side of Historic 7A. You
may also take route 22 or the Taconic Parkway.
From
the East (Boston) we are about 3 ½ hours from Boston area:
Take I-90 west, exit 2 in Lee, MA for US route 7 north. Go
through downtown Bennington and follow the signs for Historic 7A.
We are located 2 miles from downtown on the right hand side of
Historic route 7A. You may also take route 2 as an scenic drive
from Boston instead of the Throughway.
From
the West (Syracuse & Buffalo, NY) we are about 45 min. from
Albany, NY: Take I-90 east.
Then, in Albany area take I-87 north, exit 7 for NY route 7 east.
NY 7 east becomes Route 9 east in VT. Rather than going through
downtown Bennington, stay on 279 (Bennington Bypass) and take
exit 1 for North Bennington. Make a right at the end of the exit
and follow the signs for Historic route 7A (turn left just before
the light). We are located on the right hand side of Historic 7A.
